Is the ACR worth it?

parts an support didnt matter on earlier versions that were plagued with problems. still issues today from time to time with the latest version on forums, until they have fixed everything I won't be giving that platform a second chance

Mine is the arms east version and it shoots beautifully AND the gas valve works

Herron Arms sometimes uses Green Mountain barrels too.

I actually think they have - I've had three XCRs in three different calibers and all of mine have been great. The barrel retention system is lame, but if you just cinch it down and forget about swapping barrels, everything else works great.

I posted this in another thread i'll copy and paste it here for anyone thats looking. Missed the cutoff for this months import though.

Anyone looking for the IWC ACR charging handle, I found one online from a retailer who imports from the US on a regular basis similar to IRUNGUNS. They have 4 left in stock in their US based location, I have one due for import on the next shipment on May 29th. The cutoff for any orders to be imported is April 17th. This will be my first experience with the company but they're email communications were very quick and helpful so I have no concerns thus far. It's not cheap at 110 dollars CAD after shipping but it was the only retailer I could find here in Canada. The company is A.Z. Tech Armory. It keeps censoring the name for some reason but theres no spaces its just one word like the spelling for the Native American Tribe. I'm not sure why that would be censored but you can google it no problem.

I spent 400$ to try out an APC for 200 rounds...lol... And to find out the ACR isnt something you can just replace that easy....loll...
 
Got me a new AC"Я"us incoming, then will send it off to Herron for NR conversion.
Decided against milled-in brake after talking to Herron.

I will eventually do some side by sides between AC"Я"us , APC "SwissNEA", SAN "Almost-milsurp", Tavor "NR Glock" and 858 "Commie".
I'm missing XCRinco and Xcatter95 which I might not add to my collection.
