Is there a need for more Cdn made AR parts?

I'm in. I was thinking about doing up another AR anyways. Just please no pin tensioner, receiver slop is irrelevant to function any way.

The tensioner will only be a threaded screw hole just in front of the pistol grip, whether you opt to use is is up to you, all you would need to do is leave the allen screw loose from the pin, or leave it out all together.

For those who want something special, please email me directly with your requests on serial numbers and whether you want standard or enhanced model.

E-mail sent from my blackberry Rick.
Enhanced model for me please, and I'll get back to you about any special engraving and serial number(I might go for 2 lowers as well).

Awesome idea!!

Need to think about the rest of the configuration now......

The next question I have is.
Obviously lower parts kits will be required.
Is there any brand that would be a better choice to try and get in quantity than others , and why.
I have good access to DPMS for pins and the like, as well as Jewel for triggers, but am open to suggestions, feeling if I am going to get into this I may as well do it right.

I've used the DPMS lower kits and just got a stag kit... I think that the Stag looks better I'll let you know tomorrow after I install the kit in the lower...

Rick, you know I am always good for one. Saw the blocks of aluminum the other day, can't wait to stop by and see a finished one.

Stag parts kits are great. I think the finish on critical surfaces is better than the DPMS.

You can't please everyone, so trying for a non-stock trigger won't fly. For example, the Jewell triggers are great in a low-volume target gun, but I'd hate to run one in a high-round-count training carbine (the wire on the right holding the hammer pin is marginal, at best, at its job).

I'd just put standard parts kit with it and let people use the stock trigger or do any number of upgrades on their own.
