Rick, have you been following the T97 and VZ58 issues? These are new manufacture semi's that are having their classifications looked at and altered - Martar's new VZ58 rifles are now prohib. Is there any worry with your new AR lowers? Have any tranfers been started and completed successfully?
Is there a need for more Cdn made AR parts?

Very niche, as in a very small market. Not many people will expense for .308 when all you can do is shoot at a range.
That being said they are a lot of fun. Also very accurate. Sub .5 moa is very possible with some of these rifles.

Honestly I have not been staying tuned in on the T97 or VZ58 thing. Too busy making guns and getting all of the crap associated with the move to spend the time.
Several transfers of our AT15 lowers have been done and a bunch more will be done tomorrow and more again on Tuesday.
So far no problems I don't suspect there will be either unless the feds decide to prohib all ARish type firearms, and I have not heard anything to that effect.
Ofcourse you have to realize the feds ALWAYS ask me what for my input when it comes to new and improved gun laws.

EDIT: Looks like 08/12/08 I put a deposit down. Mine has custom CNC engraving and cool fire control markings.

I have been transferring several lowers per day. They are NOT finished ANO yet, but will be very soon. I figured at the rate the CFC and provinces take some times to approve the transfers I would get a jump on them.
