kinda bugging me a little, should I get lower profile rings or is it not too bad?

Every scope mount is a personal fit. To far back, to far forward, to high, to low. When you bring your rifle up to your shoulder the scope should be at your natural shooting level. If you have to raise your head to get a good view, then it is to high, lower your head, then it is to low. Move your head back to get a full scope view or forward? The scope should be in full focus as soon as the rife is at your shoulder. Having to move your head around to get the view lined up and you will end up seeing that trophy butt walking into the bush.
See thru rings and a compass on the stock?

if mount it with the cheek resting on the weld I can't see thru the scope properly, have to rase my head just to above the jaw is resting on the weld. I guess I should go lower...
