Issc mk22 scar.

FWIW took one right out of the box today, slapped on the butstock, the sights and checked bore for clear. Then ran 100 rounds of CCI through it with 3 mags.
1.no FTF or FTE (ran smooth a silk)
2.Even with my bad eyes and semi poor adjustable sights on, rapid and DT managed respectable 25 meter groups and never missed 1 plate on the tree.
3.I saw the YT post of the fellows lemon and made sure I went over the rifle to
tighten and LT screws (some were loose)
4.This is NOT a SCAR but a fun plinker with 22RF that has a respectable accuracy
with decent ammo.If the fellow was looking for a SCAR he should have saved his coin
and purchased a SCAR. However, even at it's price point it still needs to be reliable.
All three mags worked well without "tuning" .
Looking forward to trying it out with some decent optics and with my shooting glasses on.
Time will tell if ISSC has produced a decent product but 1 days use and it looks promising.

Epps has them in stock now. I have mine on layaway until I can pick it up. Two extra mags as well. I didn't know it existed until just now but As soon as I saw it I wanted it!

received mine from sfrc and fired 200 rounds of the only 22 ammunition i had which was 20yr old federal and canadian tire ammo. not one jam or missfire and some off this stuff was green. gun is plastic so it feels like plastic, but had a blast shooting it and can see myself using it alot because its so fun to shoot. going to put an optic on it but not sure what yet? whats everyone using for scopes ? might try my aimpoint

All these screws going loose and failure to cycle really concerns me. Seems to be a high percentage of affected units or am I just over-reacting ?

Just got the one for my nephews X-Mas present, had to test fire it to make sure everything works, RIGHT?HAHAHA
Put 100 rounds threw it, found that you must firmly put in the magazine or it sits just a tad low, fired 50 rounds of Winchester Wildcat, not one malfunction, and 50 rounds of 20 year old Federal HI-Power HV with not one misfire or Jamm, seem to be a great gun, everyone who handled it liked it alot, and they say when I rapid fired 2 mags it had a real COOL SOUND, haha! Now I got to clean it, wrapped it up or I think I will be playing with it till December otherwise.
I don't buy "Plastic" guns, but I sure would make an exception in this case, just a great pop can roller for sure. Now just need an extra 4 mags!Dale Z!

Anyone have their optic picked out?

XPS3-0 w/a G23 FTS in tan. Got the sight, just waiting for magnifier and rifle.

Will look like below setup but with a black Eo.... & downgraded caliber.
What optics everyone else running??

I went to EPPS and held the SR22, The Chiappa and the MK22.
It was a landslide win for the MK22. The SR22 felt like a rifle covered up with plastic and metal kit. The MK22 was the closest to actually feeling like a dedicated piece of equipment even though it's not a genuine SCAR.

Picked mine up at Epps and found out they sold out within a week. All their spare mags too. Overall I find it extremely reliable. Stoppages are few and far between and only with cheapy rounds.

I've got a Lucid HD7 on mine. I had it out to the range on Saturday. First 150 rounds a mix of Mini-mags HP, stingers and Winchester 40g bulk. All performed with only one FTE. The next 150 were much more problematic.
Took her home stripped her down, found the tension bolt at the back to be under no tension. Tightened and loctited, hopefully she will perform now like she did for the first 150.

I just got my MK22 about a week ago and put about 350 rounds one day and another 250 the next. The first day I used Federal bulk pack and cci Blazers. I had best results with the Federal bulk pack. First 150 rounds I had light primer strikes and FTE's, about 4 for each. All the FTE's loaded a new round and the empty casing got stuck on ejection. One of the empty cases even dented the bolt cover. The next 200 rounds went without a single issue...anyone else notice the mags hold 24 rounds not 22? The next day was a different story, It was kinda a mixed bag of issues. I didn't want to clean it after the first day, I just wanted to see how it ran dirty. Same thing, a few FTF's and FTE's. 3 or 4 mags went through without any issue as well.

Overall I think its a great rifle, just needs to be cleaned after every range trip. I don't know what kind of crappy metal they used for the bolt cover but it must be soft if brass can dent it. Also I've been checking out some other forums and it turns out that GSG Germany may build this rifle for ISSC. The action, trigger group and flash hider are 100% interchangeable with the GSG-5, according to some American's that own both rifles.

GSG-5 bolt looks the same to me.
