It's here: NEA-15 unboxing photos

So you are in the habit of shooting guns at -40 with no gloves?

Expressing personal taste...I wear tactile gloves, and generally speaking metal sucks. Now, Are you inferring that one's preferences in an AR platform/accessories/layout is subject to your personal approval? Or are you just being a judgemental nitpicking douche?

If I wanted to nitpick there's a whole lot there that I could focus on....but I comment on a major component not fitting my needs or tastes and you feel the need/justification to jump in......that's exactly why I won't even touch on the deficiencies....too many fanboys who get all butt hurt if someone says anything even remotely negative about their chosen object of worship  Trust me, if I wanted (or valued for that matter) your opinion, I would have PM'd you....but frankly I don't. :slap:

I get nice letter from Department of Chief Office of Motherland Firearms. The Czar has approved for transfer of NEA riffle to me :D

Now to wait for Bureau of Postal Incompetency to deliver arms to my encampment!

That's why I live in Vanifornia. It's a bone chilling 7 degrees right now.

I Agree....

P.S. I am man enough to operate firearms but the metal parts are too cold to touch.

Wait I almost forgot this thread is about a Comrad sharing his happy moment of recieving a new toy with the rest of us ... Thanks man, I like it

ENJOY!!.. I know I will when it comes

t0rch, thanks for the pictures. They are excellent quality (the pictures) and really show us the product.

Only one thing that is bugging me about the NEA rifle, the upper receiver rail looks like its "clamped" on end where it's closest to the magwell. I've never seen something like that before. It seems like poor quality but I'll need more pictures to verify if that "is the way it is" or it's just poorly made. Very interesting.....

You mean as referenced in posts 17 and 18 of this thread?

lifetime warranty, who cares how the rail clamps down. with all the new users, they are going to get plenty of feedback, and if that clamp fails, they'll honour the warranty I'd assume.

I use DD QD sling mount that attaches to a side rail, closer to the magwell on my other guns. The only attachment point I see is closest to the front. What are my options if I want to attach sling mount closer?

and about the colour, does it matter? are you shooting it on a course or taking it to a show and shine?

Well, since:

No one needs more than 4" of rail on the sides.

You can go without. Apart from that?
