So, don't mean to be impatient, but I thought the new 58's were going to be up on the site "a few days from now" a few weeks ago. Can I not find them on the site? Not meaning to press anyone's buttons, I'm sure marstar is quite busy and maybe didn't have the time.

The hardest thing in this business is bringing supply to the market to meet the demand. All to often governments throw a ton of paper in your way, then some ignorant civil servant acts without knowing why and you have to prove yourself and your parts legal etc... sometimes all this is some other government. All this to "control end users" etc, while terrorists buy AKs for $100ea from some unfriendly nation anyway and a Canadian street gang smuggles them into Canada from some third world poop station to shoot each other.

Rant Off.

It takes time, Marstar is there to sell you guns and feed the families of its employees so rest assured this stuff will come online ASAP... dispite John's bedside manor :D.

For info, John is not at Marstar these last few days and won't be back till sometime next week, so hold your breath until then fellas ;)

So when John's not there everyone goes home or has Marstar turned into a one man operation. The only time he comes on here is to stomp down on someone's throat for calling him out yet he posts they're moments away and then disappears for weeks. :bangHead:

MPI,

The question is, who is an authorized person by the owner of a company to speak on it's behalf?

If John hasn't deputized or assigned the duty to one of his staff to keep an eye on this stuff, why would there be any updates?

If I was the owner of a company dealing with firerams import/export, I'd want to be damn sure that whoever was posting info regarding our business knew exactly what they were writing about.

I'd guess that we'll hear more when he gets back. *shrug* You guys with your complete lack of patience. Ever hear the saying about "Good things come to those who wait?"

Or, you guys can just bicker back and forth about why stuff isn't here yet when the origins of this post were just really as a teaser for what's "coming soon".

NS

Well my whole problem with Marstar is that they have to take the good with the bad it they're going to use a forum to drum up interest for a product they're bringing in. If you let slip that something is coming in, provide an expected delivery time and things get delayed you should continue to keep people informed. Sure some will get frustrated and voice their dissapointment, but there's a whole bunch of us who will take things at face value and show some understanding.

Teaser or marketing?

I hope marstar has a good supply of 54r ammo.I have been keeping an eye open for some and there does not seem to be much around these days.

Lose lose for Marstar imo.

If Marstar just sprung the VZ59 on us one day, that would suck for all us regular folk who have to financially plan for a $2-3 grand purchase...giving us notice is good for biz....cause I have planned.

But when dealing with so much red tape and sketchy shipping deadlines....they look like a tease.

Anyways...Marstar does not pre sell, and they dont take money for stuff they are not ready to ship....so while they may leave you hot an bothered, they are not screwing with anyones money....and you can't ask for better ethics than that.
