Also, I tried googling for the mag adapters.. looking for the one for XD's as it is rumored to exist but cannot find a detailed description as to which adapters are actually available.

EMF e-mailed me back with bad news.

Unfortunatly the only mag adapters available for any of their rifles is for the glock mag. She also mentioned that their next adapter will be for the 1911 mags.

Disappointing but I did at least thank them for the prompt reply.

Is anyone using KCI mags? How are they working?

I have a JR en-route and need to pickup some extra glock mags. Anyone have any suggestions as to where to get some cheap mags? A source for 33/10 rounders??

cool ill be going there tomorrow anyways i think. I have $100 gift cert for there and i think they have MFS 115g 9mm for $110 per 500rnds.

i can always support local on the mags too i guess.

I used the KCI in mine with a minor issue butonce the mag had a few through it the mag was fine.

Well...

my JR shipped yesterday from Epps.

Magpul AFG2 arrived from Questar, and I bought 500rnds of 115g 9mm and a 10 rnd glock mag from Al Simmons today. Waiting for my sight to arrive....well and the gun.

Great looking carbine, if I was you I get Gunzilla lube/cleaner check if all screws and buffer tube nut are tight up.

Went to range with it tonight.

Sighted in the cheap red dot at 50 yards...

went and tried to hit a gong at 200 yards....hit it a few times, but thats way beyond 9mm range.

came back to 100 yards and was punching paper no problem. Did not get to the action (close range 10-20 yard stuff) range as it was really busy tonight.

Not one miss fire, FTF or FTE in 130 rnds. Was using cheap MFS steel cased 115g FMJ.

Was having too much fun that i forgot to take a video. Ill try and get out again.

Is everyone using a dry lube, is anyone just lightly oiling or how should i clean this?

Also - just realized my cleaning kit doesnt have a 9mm brush or jag...any other cal usable?

Are the JR Carbines setup so that any AR Forearm (rail) will mate up perfectly to the upper?
Anyone know?
