JR Carbines at Epps

Well I bought one at Epp's today...but the transfer is 'under review'...
Apparently the CFO is holding up the transfers on these..but only for a couple of days.
I'm tired of this type of bulls**t..but not much I can do about it.
I heard from one of the early purchasers that they seem to need a little 'break in' period, but after that seem to run well.
Stay tuned for an update.. if I ever get this MOFO transfered, shipped and into my hands..

How so? Definitely not in reliability and compactness. :)

Because the sub 2000 is a child's toy worth $350 that now in Canada carries a $700 price tag!

Not only that but then you have to buy a rail system that costs another $100 for a couple pieces of plastic just to mount any optic.

I have no interest in a gun I could brake over my knee with little force, or by simply falling on it.

I have handled airsoft guns that feel more solid than that thing.

Sure it functions fine, but I will never own one.

I am a little scared that the transfer is held up by the CFO, but other than that I am excited to hear how the thing works out.

Please let us know.

Cheers

" Aside from the fire control group, this is essentially just using AR furniture. "

It's great news. Especially after the .22 cal rifles from Colt and S&W being tagged as AR-Variants.

I haven't seen a photo of one with a 19-inch barrel though. Hopefully they don't look goofy.

I handled one, they look very cool. I am seriously considering it for a fun toy!
They could be a little shorter in the barrel, but then they'd be restricted!!
They seem very solidly built!

Hmmmm....did you also purchase a Ruger SR-22 with optics, around...oh, say 2pm?

Ordered one today...mine flagged by CFO as well....

What are those guys up to???

It's probably nothing sinister. I am willing to bet these rifles all have small numeric serial numbers. They are probably getting flagged due to duplicate serial numbers with another gun in the system. This causes an automatic flag and is usually processed fairly quickly.

It happens quite often with SKS's because of their short numeric serial numbers. Actually, Bond Arms has the same problem frequently again due to their serial numbers.

Nothing to worry about I bet.

K.O.
