JR Carbines at Epps

It would look great with a longer rail system to shroud the barrel and a reflex-style flash suppressor. Shame about the takedown procedure but that's probably one thing that kept it away from being an "AR variant".

That's exactly what I'm thinking Clooney. A fake can would make the extra length look much better IMO. I'll try to mock something up this week once mine arrives.

The nice thing about guns, is they are a possession you can choose to own, or not, don't like one, don't drink the cool-aid, and get another!

Removing the stock to field strip is entirely stupid.

So is having yet another restricted AR "variant". I for one am glad it turned out this way.

What about sights?

Does it have any?

Don't think so. At least I haven't seen any in the available pics, but at 8:45am tomorrow I'll know for sure.

I'm going to do an unboxing and first shoot video once I'm back from the post office. I made a hat cam for use with R/C aircraft, and it looks like it should work with firearms too. :)

The two issues are .... two issues.

How so? If this thing disassembles in an manner even remotely similar to an AR, it's going to be a restricted variant guaranteed.

The engineering for disassembly is lame. Who can deny it?

If they want to use standard AR furniture in a solid aluminum receiver then there might not be many (if any) other simple/affordable/easy to manufacture options.

Having said all that, as I haven't heard first hand or yet seen how it actually comes apart this might be much ado about nothing, or the biggest pain in the ass anyone has ever designed.

We'll all know tomorrow.

The carbine ships without any sights...
If you want the skinny on the take down, go to my post down the list....."JR Carbine Range Report"
