Jury Custom barrel

Yeah, that about sums it up.
I was thinking of putting together a srbr outfit but after reading this I can't say I have the same desire.

You know I went into F-Class and met some super nice folks with a real helpful attitude. I shot my first F-Class match with a tactical rifle and not once did I feel like people were making fun of or looking down at me. Now after a number of years in F-Class I've occasionally toyed with bench rest as I like to learn new things and have the time to do so but, just like you appear to be, I get put off whenever I read a thread where the 'benchrest attitude' is on full display.

This thread should be locked

Are you kidding, I don't get over to the precision threads as much as I should (lots of good info. available here), but I arrived just in time for this for this one.

This particular thread kept me interested with all the items mentioned by Tomochan. Having read it all start to finish just now while sacrificing a little sleep was easily acceptable because it was to good a read to stop.

Can't say I'm an expert on these precision rifles, but from what I've read here I would definitely give a Jury barrel a go in F-Class, SRBR or anywhere I wanted to have my bullets be on target exactly (as in through the same hole).

They've been proven to perform by Rick at ATRS a credible figure in the Canadian shooting community and a known expert in precision rifle building, among other key shooters here.

There's also the keen idea of supporting Canadian shooting business'/industry, not to mention some great advantages offered by buying Canadian firearms products.

Things like if there's ever an issue needing to be sorted it can be done w/o months of red tape and in person often times (try that with an out of country product...), which along with reduced order wait times should be found as very appealing.

Cheers D

Now that all the big bulls are done fighting (just kidding of course), I'll share not so personal experience. This guy(my friend) bought one Jury barrel, chambered it and done everything possible in load development but it wouldn't shoot. Took it back to gunsmith, he checked everything was straight as it should be, as a last resort he suggested, he can try and lap it, it may or may not work. He lapped it and barrel shot great after. Just one little experience, doesn't mean much but still.
