Of course there is no shortage and that is why everyone selling ammo has the Federal .223/1000 piled to the ceiling, right?
Again let me know when the next shipment of US ammo in .223/.308/.300 WM/ .338 Lapua arrives in Canada as where I shop the can't get it.
Even more important is you letting us know when the next fire sale on ammo will happen as people I know have been saving for this epic event. Please be more accurate than your previous prediction.
There is a shortage and civilian shooters are not the main cause, just ask the NRA.
Are you really this dense?
Where did anyone say there was "no shortage".
Your claiming that the gubermint is buying it all and that civilian lines are discountinted is the BS I called you on (and your rumour that we will not see any .223, .308, .300 or .338 from the US for the remainder of 2014).
Your claim is bunk because the European armies are not buying US commercial ammunition, and the 99% small arms ammunition for the US military comes from the Lake City plant owned by Federal, and they are not chaining commercial plants to make it for the military. They are flat out as the president of ATK has said, just like the president of Hornady. Domestic production for the commercial market has SWEET F ALL do to do with military contracts (which are actually down, with the exception of a $20 million on announced for 300 win mag).
As for .223 and .338, SFRC has it on their site.
There was also a boatload of Lake City (military overruns because they have excess capacity) 5.56 that came here last month (and sold out).
I suspect more will follow.
SFRC still has Federal .223 and they also have Hornady .338, and other than .22 the stores around here have stock in everything and while not overflowing, stock is better than it has been in a year. Others in this thread have failed to notice a shortage you are claiming of as well.
So I have given you quotes from ammunition manufacturing presidents, news article from the last week, where you can still buy it from Board Sponsors, and a press release from Sierra, all saying the same thing and pointing to you being full of shyte with your made up theory.
Supply is normalizing and the reason for the shortage is domestic demand and as sweet bugger all to do with Ukraine and the European and US militaries taking up all the supply.
That is pure hogwash you made up (worthy of your hero Alex Jones).
So either quote a source (like I have done for everything I have said), or with all due respect, shut up and stop making shyte up.
