As I like to supper poke game before I touch them. As this is going to be my new coyote gun.

Just fired it today with some friends.
Another technically innovative design from Keltec.
Lightweight in its' original form, versatile.
No problems with FTF, FTE.
Worked with a variety of magazines and ammos.
Mounting an appropriate sight it could be brought under 1 moa if needed.
Easy to strip, assemble and figure out.

Installing the bolt carrier and piston will take a bit more practice in manipulation and the sights we used for irons were lowered to the lowest limit to zero.
Otherwise a very positive experience with a new rifle.

I actually liked the original stock and forearm/bipod, more than the railed forearm and collapsing stock version.

They dont have the tool for front sight, only brought in the ar stock, and compact forend.

Thanks anyways, i will keep looking but for now i am using a paperclip and long nose pliers.

I was out with mine on Sunday. No issues with the Kel-tec mags or the Lar 15. Absolutely love how it shoulders. Didn't check the brass but will next time.

I shot nice tight groups with the stock sights but they were to the right of the target... defintely have some work to do.

Overall, I love this gun!

Good to hear you guys are'nt having any problems with LAR mags.
Apparently the one I just bought was having some trouble with one, but I'm going to try another one in it and see if I can figure it out.

Nice Carbine and it looks like it can be imported non -restricted without modifications unlike the Sub 2000 that needed a longer barrel!

This being the case why is it so expensive for this model in Canada? I sort of get the extra few hundered dollars on the Sub 2000 but it makes less sense with this model....

Quick question guys. My brother just bought one of these SU16 's and he mounted a 4-12 leupold scope 1" tube. He said he can't get the scope low enouph to the barrel to get on paper. The gun store said the only thing he can do is either put a shim under the rear ring or get a 30mm tube to allow more ajustment. Is this true? Is anyone else having isues with a 1" tube?
Thanks

check this out.. :) while the kel-tec barrel threading issue is getting sorted out .. i thought of a temporary solution.. :) drilled out one of the spare brakes that i had to size of the barrel, drilled/tap two holes on the bottom of the brake for small set screws to hold it on the barrel.. looks alright, although totally non functional because barrel takes up most of the room inside the brake..
