Kel Tec sub 2000

Gun case

Like the custom case. Have my eye on a similar one at WSS, have to take the gun down to see if it fits. Outside is 19 " may be able to squeeze it in.

Is a sticker on a case like that legal?

Makes people think there's something in there besides a firearm which I was under the impression could be considered a concealed weapon.

That case is a bit to clunky for my liking, Ill stick with mine

I like it, it's theft deterrant. Who wants to steal a case full of deadly asbestos? It's perfect.

Why wouldn't it be legal? You can put any sticker you want on anything you want. It's just a non restricted firearm. I've never heard of a law stating you need to advertise what you are carrying. It's no one else's business.

Is the driver of a minivan with a "baby on board" sticker in the back window breaking the law if he leaves the kids at home and takes the van out to watch the peelers?

Because the po-po and Judge Whitey may consider it an attempt to conceal a firearm. Been some threads about the legality of this, more concerning the guitar type cases. It's pretty grey area, but I'd read up on the possible consequences.

This is very true and just another one of our silly laws. As such when ever I have any of my rifles in a soft case like a voodoo tactical bag or the case seen above and possibly get stopped my mind set is not that it is concealed or trying to hide the fact that it is a rifle, rather being transported in safe manor that protects my investments.

Just a matter of time till Redlion comes north... If you are ok with quick release mounts you probably don't need a red lion foreend but i you want to leave things attached it's the best option.

A red dot on a sub 2000 should take care of some of the "cheek weld" issues people seem to have with these guns.

Love my Sub 2000. And as for Clobbersauras classification, i'd place my self in the first category, but i just couldnt resist to do the mods on it :)

I used an "American Defence" qwick release mount, I think it had a 3/8" or 1/2" raise. Since then I switched to TRS 25 with a different 1/2" raiser. And the A.D. Mount is currently holding a Spark on my KSG..

Was there a particular reason you switched out the FF for the bushnell on your sub2k? I just got my Red Lion foreend and was going to run the FF and a Viridian underneath just for good measure
