Kipplauf Club

Check this here, I have no clue if it is legit or not but the prices are good I think(US dollars I assume)!
https://brnousa.com/product/brno-effect-fs/
That seems about right. When my Effect (not a fullstock) was sold new I think it was about $1400CAN? I was ready to buy, but was already purchasing the OU Brno double rifle in 9.3x74rimmed from the same ad and couldn't justify both rifles. While I hemmed and hawed, The Kurgan swooped in and snatched up the Effect, which eventually found its way into my hot little hands a couple years later.

If I were to come across the rifle described (but not pictured!?!?!) in the OP I'd likely offer $2000 for it. I think that $3K is high.

Edited to add: I just noticed that the price in that U.S. ad includes a scope mount as well. Very nice. But if you snoop around that site a bit they also offer a half-stock Effect for $990...91 bucks more than the price of the fullstock. Seems weird.

You guys are out to lunch (I still love you though)

1500 max
Lol, it's 2026. Ruger Americans are over a G-note; Marlin leverguns are more than twice that. Every trigger pull on a .22rimfire is costing over a dime.

You want this gun...complete with Euro (read "pricy") scope mount and a Zeiss scope...for $1500?

More power to ya, I hope your efforts at reversing the EE price trend work. Hell, you're almost down into the price ranges that some dreamers are asking for old beat-up H&R singleshots...😆

Here is something different, not really aesthetically pleasing to my eyes but a nice system with éjecter and under mechanism for opening!

Interesting, but not appealing to me. The overall styling and form are quite streamlined and nice, and I am an admirer of the decocking "safety" that is becoming so prevalent in Euro guns.

But the opening mechanism is very ugly and obtrusive, the fluted barrel with a short unfluted section that supports a barrel-band swivel makes my eyes hurt, and I have always hated that idea of slapping a small flat slab of wood on the sides of the action of a gun with two-piece stocks. Needs iron sights, too.

Of course, those are all comments made by a shallow and superficial guy who wants his rifle to look the way he wants it to look. :) But for me, the real fly on the s**t-pile of this gun is that method of hitting the release, letting the entire barrel unit flop down, rushing to reload and then slapping it shut again. That looks...inelegant? It reminds me of watching some yahoo on TV snapping a revolver cylinder open to the side with a flip of the wrist, loading it and then contemptuously reversing the motion to snap it shut.

Yeah...it's raining and I'm bored and cranky. :)

Well I’m not as picky as you are 🤣 but I do agree with the wood on the side of the action( I think it is an option ) as for the action flapping open, I would still hold the forearm somewhat as it open… but that is just me.
I don’t care for fluted barrel my self but it doesn’t really bothers me either. Like I said the mechanism to open the action is ugly for sure!! I much prefer an under lever but usually they are not the same process 🫣!
Anyway just wanted to share something “new” .
Cheers

Hello!

Just became an proud owner of the new Rizzini R1K in 7x65r. It was a long process of chosing a kipplauf. Unfortunatelly I was a couple years late to buy a Haenel Jager9 since they are no longer produced. Used one are extremly rare, sold faster than burger or in odd calibers which dont suit me (30R Blaser etc which is waaayyy too strong for my taste) So after that it was K95, K5 or Sabatti SKL 20. Went to see Blaser K95 and honestly I was not impressed. It looked like half done CNC job....For a premium and more price u get a damn torx screws....TORX screws!!!!! Would understand if it would be 1000$ gun, but not 4500 euro....And plastic trigger gunard turned me off....K5 was a little better, it definetely suits some people, for my taste they just went too far with minimazing everything. Extremly small and light gun. If u are looking for that kind of a gun, go for it. Then I stumbeled across Rizzini R1K. It was the love on the first sight. No torx, no plastic. Even titanium, not aluminium. And cheaper than K95, a few hundred more than cheapest K5. Got in true European kipplauf caliber, 7x65r. So far it has been great, shoots solid. Will see after it gets a few more shots through and proper load is developed. Only downside is trigger. It is not horrible, but here Blaser has the edge.
