Went out with the Merkel k5 tonight with a load that looked promising, 168gn nosler accubond long range! After the first shot to zeroed it, I did a five shot group, first 3 were 11/16” then shot 4-5 went pretty much in the same hole making the total five shot group at 1.25”, velocity averaging 2795fps and avg energy at 2913ft-lbs, zeroes 3” high at 100m should be good to 400m with out too much fuss!
