I would like to put a Knoxx SpecOps Stock on my Remington Express.

Has anyone had any success in ordering one of these stocks up to British Columbia or Canada for that matter.

If so, any comments on them?

Thanks in advance

Paul

I just ordered up the Knoxx spec ops for my 1300 with houge forend from Questar, great guys to deal with....

I recieved it earlier this week and I am taking it out this weekend to giver a work out.

The shooting edge has them as well and they are a little closer to B.C. then questar. Look in the dealer section.

I just bought one at The Shooting Edge a couple of days ago for my 14" 870P, and they still had 5 or 6 of them in stock.

And I will say, this stock rocks! I shot 2 boxes of Winchester rifles slugs with the old stock and then changed the stock and shot another 3 boxes of the same slugs with the Knoxx. And the felt recoil was easily cut in half! It is actually enjoyable to shoot slugs out of my 870P now! It's also nice to be able to adjust the LOP of the stock.

Only downside I've seen is the safety becomes harder to hit, and it's impossible to use the big head safety.

Not the not being able to get to the safety easy is because the stock adaptor comes to close to the trigger guard, what would work best is a spacer in front of the stock adaptor where it meets the back of the gun frame.
Now what i would do is put a single point sling attachment in front of the stock this will give you enough room to get to the safety and you can still change the LOP to make it shorter as the m4 stocks they use have 6positions
check the link out in my sig line if your looking for an adaptor.
new batch were picked up today.
hope that helps

What bbb said...

I have a GG&G adaptor between the SpecOp stock and the receiver and I have no problem with reaching the safety.

I'd been wondering if one of those adapters would work with the Spec-Ops... Thanks! And no problems with it interfering with the movement of the recoil-reduction thingie in the stock?

Nope.. no problem.

FWIW I called Knoxx and spoke with the guys there before I installed it. They told me it doesn't interfer with with stock function at all.

I put the Knoxx Breacher's Grip (pistol grip only Spec ops stock) on my 14" 870 remington police and it makes 26" with 1/4" to 1/2" to spare:D :D
WOOT! :D

I was wondering about that.

OK you've convinced me to try to lose my photo posting virginity. here it is:

and no that wasn't so bad ;) .

the tape around the surefire is to keep the muzzle blast from staining the light body and reduce reflections. It has a 1 shot extension and normally wears an Eotech on top of the Picatinny rail.

Great looking gun! My setup is the same except I have the SpecOps stock and no EO Tech yet (that's next month's project). What rail do you have there?

it's a straight Picatinny rail I got from Brobee about a year ot two ago along with his 870 adapter back when he was selling them. one of these day's i'll have the bottom machined to match the contour of the receiver. it works well I can line up the bead between the rail sides.

brownells now lists a milspec picatinny rail contoured for the 870 for around $90. Guess I was a bit ahead of my time.
