KRISS Vector SBR .22LR 8" Non-Restricted

I have not handled a Kriss Vector. Can someone here advise why they cost twice the price of a GSG? Are they built that much better?

i've not handled a kriss 22 but judging from the 9mm , there is no comparison. gsg is one step above an airsoft.

btw, compare short barrel to short barrel, its not double. not sure what gsg 9" will be but i can gaurantee you it will not be the same price of a 16" barrel. im gonna guess about $650-700?

no. bolt dont tilt down into the grip.

These are straight blowback, not like the centrefire versions where the V recoil reducer works

I don't believe so. Since the 9mm version is a centerfire, not a rimfire firearm the minimum barrel length needs to be 470mm in order to be classified as NR. The 22lr variant is only possible since it's rimfire and its OAL is over 660mm. Rimfire firearms are not required to have a 470mm barrel in order to be classified as NR. But I'm not a lawyer and I'm sure I'm missing a few points.
