Landsborough Auctions Using deceptive AI images

Having dealt with this auction house many times with no problems, I'm going to guess that this was a supreme screwup by some moron that was assigned to "clean up the photography" and, instead of actually improving the photography, he or she accessed some garbage "Ai" supported photo software and used it to re-process the auction images with little control over what it was doing. The proper approach would have been better camera, better lighting, etc. There are a lot of people out there that rely on the digital crutch.

The images were created by AI but they were "enhanced" by AI. Usually done because of a bad picture or to remove the background and the AI messed (blurred) some aspects of the rifle together.

Doesn't make a difference in my opinion - the way it was done appears intentionally deceptive.

Also, I'm not sure that is even the case if you look at the pic of the LE Sniper in the OP. Much more than "enhanced".

I bid in most of the auctions however, I was a bit salty when I picked up my last auction winnings from landsborough. I bid and won two bags of projectiles that were said to be 240 grain 429 diameter projectiles 1000 per bag (pictures were of a clear bag, no information on it). When I picked them up I immediately noticed they were not what they claimed to be, furthermore on the other side of the bag, not pictured, was a big sticker that said 180 grain 40 cal.......

When I mentioned it, they fell back on the "we don't guarantee what it is" claim. I showed them the information right on the bag that was not in the picture but that was no use, they didn't care one bit. Fortunately I have a 40sw and 10mm however, I greatly over paid for these projectiles. Since then, I have not made another purchase through them.

"A Chinese Type 53 carbine with both Chinese and Russian markings typically indicates that the rifle was built using Soviet-supplied parts, underwent a military/arsenal rebuild, or was assembled from surplus components."
I get that you and some others havent simply popped over to their website for a look, so for those who havent bothered and wonder what the hubbub is about....

It is a biblically bad set of postings, besides the photos a good number of descriptions are wrong, with a number of repeaters listed as single-shot etc.
The pictures, well damn, I see stocks that look like wooden clubs, sights missing (look above for an easy example), parts of guns missing etc. That said, I threw in some bids, cuz they didnt mess up everything.
I can only assume the boss is away til Monday

Well it looks they fired the midget photographer. Last auction many of the pictures were taken from the height of the table they were sitting on basically. No above i.e birds eye view pics. Made it hard to tell not only the condition but what it actually was.

Does anyone else think this Colt Lightning looks "off"? The hammer seems different in each side profile picture and the rifle seems like it's slightly bent upwards in one view.
