Legally? Must be unloaded during transport. Must not be concealed while simultaneously not being visible to avoid causing a public disturbance. Yeah, our laws are very convoluted and contradictory at times.
Practically? Keep it unloaded. Carry it around in the manufacturer's box, or either bring (or buy) your own hard/soft case. Simple.
You ever been to downtown Vancouver? Parking is a b*tch. I imagine the same for Toronto and Montreal.
Or maybe someone who isn't as firearm-literate as the average CGNer. Not everyone asking a question you already know the answer to is a troll.
The whole meme of every new-ish account asking a question you feel they should know the answer to being a troll (or liberal spy/journalist/Bill Blair at the local café) is getting so tiresome and does nothing but put folk off of this forum.

#? For example, what if my car is parked 5 blocks away?
Could you give me an example of a Gun shop in Canada that needs you to park 5 Blocks away?

Sounds like a question a troll would ask. What's legal, isn't always the smart thing to do.
