Let's see some pics of your Pimped out Troy PAR

I still think Troy should make a Canadian lower. Mill out a slot on the magwell, and make proprietary 20/30 round magazines that have a projection on them so they will fit in the PAR magwell slot, but won't fit in an AR magwell. :)

This was done already & rejected by the RCMP ...

So any complaints on the fluted Troy chamber? I wish it was a standard chamber instead. Been debating on a Troy pump rifle. I want a quality 223 or 308 carbine for plink age lol. Anybody know for sure if Troy makes the uppers and lowers out of 7075 aluminum or if it's the cheaper 6065 aluminum?

I read that the chamber is fluted to help with pressure check control and to help bleed off gases that are normally vented through the semi auto system.

Mine just got this in this week.

Anyone recommend a good method to attach a rail to the Troy handguard so I can add a bipod. I know noveske makes a sling stud attachment, but who stocks it?

The 2" and pump action pic rails do contact each other but do not interfere with the cycling action.

What rail is that, I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure out what works. So I figured out it's not key mod, possibly not Mlok is it a dedicated alpha rail rail mount? Would you happen to have the link.

Thanks again

How is the weight of the 308 version?

Looking at one for a hunting rig. I can't decide if I should get a .223 version a convert it to 6.8, or just buy a 308.

Here is my .308 PAR with Magpul and Aero Precision parts. The only other items on my "to do" list are to attach a front rail for a bipod (need to adapt the 2" Troy rail to fit) and improve the trigger. Oh... and to actually shoot it (can't believe I have not done that yet).

Beautiful rifle...

How much does it way as it sits?

Thanks, I'm glad you asked about the weight as I had intended to weigh it but had forgotten. As shown in the picture it is 10 lb, 1.25oz. So a bit too heavy and too bulky to make a practical hunting rifle, in my opinion. Which is OK by me as my hunting days are over, although it could be pressed into service if necessary.

Added a cheapo Caldwell bipod and some magpul hand stops on the bottom, still haven't fired the damn thing yet.

Speaking of shooting, anyone know a good source for 20 round p mags? Can't find them anywhere
