Let's see some pic's of your SxS's & O/U's

Okay James, here is another----------HAMMER GUN!:p
While not in the same catagory as the other SxS's on here, she is a delightful upland 20 gauge, Belgian made for the Dutch weapons firm Ned Wapenmagazijn.

"While not in the same category"....I doubt that. Just those hammer shapes gave me a mild chuby. Side X Sides made in Belgium were either really good or really bad. You have a good one.

I just bought a new 20 gr S/S CZ Ringneck with 26" barrels what a nice gun. Great Fit and finish and sing great. Nice and small, I took it out Yesterday and tried it out on some Chucker. I have to say a great bang for the buck....I have others I paid alot more for but I am very Happy. I can't wait to try it out on grouse in the fall. I ordered a Easyhit Sight for it, to give me a bit of help in the low light. Great Gun.....

Probably the best deal on the market for "lower end" break action shotguns are the CZ, made by Huglu, shotguns. This one is my CZ Redhead in 20 gauge with 26" barrels. I give it two thumbs up. These shotguns got a bad rep from when Hatfield was importing them. They were charging outlandish prices that could almost get you a Beretta Silver Pigeon S. Since CZ has been importing them the quality is way up and the prices are way down with 5 years of warrenty to boot.

Not posting a picture but a link, if you want to drool over a nice selection of high end rifles, shotguns and other goodies, with very good pictures

They are from the US

Owned by a skeet shooter by the name of Kurt Grates, nice guy and will deal with canadians, usually has Rick Lawry import for him.

Definitely worth a look look see

And with DTs .... very nice acquisition. How much does that weigh?
weight is 5.8lbs. according to my digital fish scale, but I will also weigh it on my postal scale to be sure.:D
I ordered it with DT's and fixed chokes, with the back trigger on the IC choke, the front one for the mod choke - that way I won't slip from the front to the back accidentally and double it when it's raining and my gloves are slippery!
manual safety as well.
It's also monogrammed.....

Here's a few pics of my Pedersoli hammer double, the" La Bohemienne"
12 bore.
REALLY heavy fun that will be perfect for ducks and geese this fall!
Browned barrels too, a real nice gun.....

So much for your recoil issues :). Sometimes ya just gotta go 12 ga. How would you describe the forend on that hammer gun? Is it a Beaver Tail?

Splendid shotgun. Somewhat on the light side (if that weight is true) for a 16 but then again considering the general ratio of shots on a given day that factor may be negligible. The idea of switching triggers is sound....screw-ins would've made the configuration more versatile.....well, at least the birds couldn't have figured out which tube to watch out for :D

LOL! Good question. Looks like a cross between a semi-beavertail and a CZ like splinter/schnabel piece.....now we pushed Cat to start having second thoughts about that 10ga. :D

Semi Beavertail, I suppose?
Oh , no, I STILL have recoil issues , for sure, and you can bet that that steel butt plate is coming off!!
Light loads of 7/8oz and a REX24 wad seem not too bad, bt I couldn't finish a round of skeet yesterday using 1oz Kent Sporting loads.
One must also realize as well, tha there are not nearly so many rounds fiured out of a duck blind as there is in a da of shooting clays.
I may just keep using BP out f it as well....

The 16 is getting ,loaded light as well!
First game Sunday with it was a 24/25 all low gun doubles, so it fits me well enough.:D

This gun has Purdey style third bite instead of the more common Greener cross bolt.

Here is my latest acquisition. A Citori grade 6. Came with a Briley custom aluminum double case and 8 Briley extended choke tubes. Problem is the barrels are the wrong way. Oh well, sometimes a guy has to live with oddities!!
