Let's see some pic's of your SxS's & O/U's

Back to the "working man's meat getter". The top gun I've had for awhile, the bottom gun just arrived. Both are Feg Continental 200's. Top gun has beavertail forearm and cheek piece, bottom gun has splinter forearm and no cheek piece. Both guns are 3" magnum. Top gun is 1973 production, bottom gun 1977. Both guns are in excellent, pristine condition with neither gun seeing more than a box of shells.

Here's my Merkel. 211E - 231E O/U combo 16x16 - 2 3/4" and second barrel set 16 / 7x57R and Hensoldt 4x / claw mounts. In a fitted Box. Not strictly a shotgun, but I have used it as a shotgun quite a bit, and took some good game with the rifle barrel. I particularly like the game scene engraving on this one.

O/U -Browning Superposed 1938. Rich in family history, possibly one of the last Superposed out of the F/N factory before the war, based on S/N. Pride of my firearms collection hands down. If I could name my first born John Moses Browning I would.

I love this thread. I've got a 525 Citori field I'm pretty fond of and a Beretta 686 white onyx waiting for a new home that's pretty nice too. But they pale in comparison to some of the shotguns pictured. Keep em coming boys!

WOW! that is so nice. Love the lock system on these. You must be very proud to own something so outstanding.

Okay-to keep it going , here are some pics of a couple of "lower quality" guns I recently picked up from EE members. The first is a Belgian gun, no makers name. While a lower quality gun, it is great for carrying being a light 28 gauge.
The second gun is a Tobin. What can I say; I like the Canadian firearms connection to it. I will give it some TLC this winter.

Yes sir. Nice 28ga.:) To this day I cannot grasp why I turned my nose up on it when offered it and let it go to the EE. Bad brain fart I guess. I thought I found the manufacturer however. Nothing stamped?? on it for a marking, etc??

No Mac, on the gun there is no marking as to a maker, just the Belgian proof marks. The first gun in the picture below is another Belgian 28 gauge. I have identified the maker on it but I forget off hand. My other computer where the info is stored is on the fritz right now. The second gun is the one you turned down, the third is another very nice Dutch 20 gauge and the fourth is an Italian IAG 16 gauge from 1931. It has very fine floral engraving that is hard to see in the pic.

Thanks. I didnot know you were into these old hammer guns. I hate to say it but I had about 5 SXS in an old wooden barrel in the shed for lawn decorations for years and sold off three for peoples wall hangers this summer. They were not in great shape but may have been parts for you. All 12 ga and one 16ga I could not see any marks or names on any of them that I could ID. I think there is two left and I best have a better look at those just in case they are any good to you for parts. Take care

Wow - some pretty impressive stuff here! Love 'em! :D

No fine workmanship here, I'm afraid, just my ruffie guns. Plain and simple, but they've brought home a LOT of birds over the years...:):

Top is an old Baikal Model 58MA 12 ga. that I bought in 1981, barrels shortened to 22". It has a LOT of miles on it, but it has never failed me, and I LOVE that gun!

Bottom is a plain ol' Stoeger 20 ga. Coach Gun - perfect in heavy cover. :)
