What I meant was that the 20 g barrel set would normally have a narrower and more shallow mono block to fit into the scaled receiver of a 20 g gun and wouldn't fill the larger receiver of a 12 g gun... if that makes any sense... So unless the 20 g barrel set was specifically built with a 12 g sized mono block for a 12 g receiver than I'm still perplexed as to how they made this happen.
That 20 gauge 682 is a beauty. Got out to try the new to me 682 yesterday on three rounds of skeet in wintery windy conditions and now a confirmed 682 fan.

Where abouts in NS is your club?
Years ago I shot the Canadian Skeet Championships at the now defunct Dartmouth club---it was a great club and lots of fun.
Just outside the town of Lunenburg on the South Shore of N.S. About an hour away from Dartmouth.

Had to shut down our old Sporting Clays field a few years back and built a new one on other side of the property. Pic of the start of cutting.

It seams like hex barels looking at the beginning ?
Do I take it the rear 'trigger' unlatches the gun?
I was wondering that myself?
