Lets see some pics of your tactical shottys!

What, like this?:D

DSC04053.JPG

Used LE stock and forend from Numrich. They both looked a little rough when they arrived, but this is after an afternoon of stripping and refinishing.

Very nice....:D

Valtro PM5 w/ 14" bbl and some extra mags when them zombie buggers just dont get the hint... 35 rounds at the ready... heck yeah! :D

And the CZ 858's Mag Pouch works perfectly for Valtro Mags, fits like a glove, so you dont have to get all decked out with the chest rigs and what not looking like Captain Mall Ninja... (unless thats your thing, then all the power to you :D)... :dancingbanana:

I just finished up what I call my Rem 870 "Navy Boarding Party" Tactical.
This one I'll be using mostly for trap & fun shootin'.
It's got a fresh coat of Arma Coat Battleship grey which I baked on at
170 degerees for 4 hrs. She wears a Bushnell Holo-Sight and is equipped with
a Mesa Tactical High-Tube Recoil Stock assembly w/Enidine buffer.
The barrel has a lengthed forcing cone and is Flex-Honed to a fine finish.
The fore end is a Pachmayr Vindicator and the trigger I tuned to 2.5 lbs.
A full range of Comp-N-Choke & Carlson's tubes, as well as the Remmy ones
enable me to use this gun for anything from clay birds to pirates!

Now if I can only get that stupid Village People song outta me head!:D

That is a sick shotgun!

That is a sick shotgun!

(I'll have to do an indepth review of it in this section of CGN, Ill check to ensure if one hasnt been done)

My upsides to the PM5... :D
--The manufacture states only "General Maintenance" (which they state as wiping down with gun oil) after several THOUSAND rounds...
-- Although kind of overkill, the external threading on the muzzle can support a Grenade Launching attachment; and or a barrel extension, or rifled barrel extension; oir breaching device from Casey at Tactical Ordnance :dancingbanana:...
-- The complete lack of any carrier/lifter enables this action to be faster cycling then others, and with the lack of those parts the relability increases tenfold, as if there not there... they cant break... :D
-- To have the magazine capacity of a 18-19" Barrel in a 14" package with the brutal quickness of reload time of that of a rifle is something Im surprised other manufacturers havent got their heads around perfecting...
-- Overall ammunition capacity your enabled to carry, I literally have more rounds then an individual holding TWO Keltec KSGs...

My downsides... :(
-- Lack there of for aftermarket accessories, (but in my mind, not a massive deal, Ive always enjoyed the Pistol grip style buttstock, and the length of pull fits like a glove, Ive looked into Remington 870 Forends that can be modified with a few cuts; and also if it aint broke dont fix it I say ;))
-- Magazine availability, very scarse to say the least... Im NOT going to mention price as a downside($80-$90), as they are literally worth every penny... these mags are probably some of the most well constructed ones Ive seen for any firearm; Id put them in the same class as the Accuracy International Mags for bolt guns, these are them for shotguns...

Bottom line, these things were designed for a Military/Police duties, and it shows tenfold... would I trust my life to one.... your damn straight :D:dancingbanana::D

That's a nice "old school" 870, fast handling and adaptable. I'm
getting the urge to do-up an old school beasty now.:)

Here's your blaster pic after a slight tuning. Thought folks would
like to get a better view.Neat shotty!

Wild West Shooting Supplies in Edmonton, LANZ Shooting Supplies (I believe) & Ellwood Epps in Ontario all come to mind, they come with the 1 magazine, but just keep your eyes peeled for ones to pop up here and there, theyre worth EVERY penny :dancingbanana:

I regret selling mine...
:(:(:( Sorry to hear, I will definitely not be parting with mine as ALL my other firearms would have to get the axe FIRST before this one, Im just happy to FINALLY get out to the range this weekend after a 3 month hiatus :D:dancingbanana::D

Yeah, the shadows are kinda bad in that pic. It's a great little gun.

My Norinco HP-9 with a Tac-Star side saddle and a Hogue overmolded forend. I bought this one in 2004, it's my travel trailer gun.

My Winchester 1300 Defender, it was given to me a few years ago by my Stepdad. I think he put only 3 rounds through it, and I put 5 so far. Sad I know.

Hey Stevo, how do you like that tru-glo sight? Does it stay put nicely? looks high enough to bring POI down where it should be

I quite like it. The FO is very bright and the height allows for a proper sight picture. It's not moved so far but I've only got about a dozen rounds through that barrel with it installed. The NEA barrel has a larger OD so it's really snug. The one I put on my 18.5" Remington barrel doesn't fit as tight. If they do move I figure I'll just epoxy them in place.

I've got both red and green versions and I like the green one best.
