I find the eye relief way better then any ACOGs.

I agree with that as far as the 32mm 4X acog series is concerned, but not the 35mm TA11 series. I get 3" of eye relief easy with the one I have.
With the C79 my helmet is resting on top of it to get good eye relief.

That said, very nice rifle you have there.

My last shoot, not only was my helmet touching the C79, my ballistic eyeware was pushing against it and I had to turn my body near 90 degrees from line of sight to get enough leeway to see while wearing my helmet.

Thankfully, moving my fat arse down during the level three runs made everyone laugh too hard to comment on my philipina contortionist-like shooting stances.

That's a good way too put it.

My first C7 was a C7, not one of these ones that have been dressed up. They kind of remind me of a classy lady dressed like a Regina whore. I like the simple and reliable.

It has been my experience thus far that the Elcan is past it's prime. It's heavy, I can't get a good site picture unless I'm eye-####ing it and I don't find them... "comfortable".

Give me back the carry handle or please God pick some different optics.

Just my half cent worth.

Dlask makes clone lowers... for a pretty penny.
