Let's see your C7 clones! (and C8 clones too, I guess...)

M203A1... I carried that awkward hunk of steel through 3 months of dp1.1. It is such an awkward weapon that even the C9 gunners refused to switch with me. Oh well, at least my right arm is huge now.

Yah, I carried that "awkward hunk of steel" in Afghanistan. In Combat.
It was one of the most effective weapons we had at our disposal. It was my own personal artillery weapon and I was able to fire at high trajectory and land rounds behind the mud walls that the enemy loves to hide behind.
But at least my right arm is huge!

Yes. The barrel latch, in the shadowed area can be seen in the photo on the right side. They are on the left. The sight is obvious, but I don't want to comment in case there is a right sided trials sight somewhere in the CF system, and therefore making me a liar.

It was reversible IIRC

I've never seen anyone reverse it -- but I remember looking at the Mounts and thinking it was reversible -- but its been a long time.

I'm going to regret this because posting this here will probably lead to these things getting sold out fast, and since I can't afford one right now, I'm going to be kicking myself for spreading the news about it, but here it goes:

So, refurbed C79s with armalite green covers for $1,150..and if your LE/MIL, there's an IOP on top of that price.

Damn you guys that can afford this right now and buy them up, lol! I want to cry.

Where did everyone source the stippled stocks? I can't seem to find anywhere that has them. The green handguards and grips are easy enough to locate.

Those are Diemaco stocks, which are textured either black or green. Hand guards are also a distinct color of green , not the Armalite green, which is lighter. Good pics of the correct stuff earlier in this string. I'm D say the Diemaco stuff is more of f a forest green.

Here's the work one:

Allow me to cast a doubt on the provenance of that bolt carrier group. Those are kept under lock and key and vaulted when not in use so I am skeptical as to how this could have been surplussed intentionally. On the other hand, the poor troopie that last that thing most likely got his home searched and is probably still turning a base inside out and sweeping training areas on his knees under MP supervision trying to find it.

Actually, Some of the Diemaco BCG were provided to Colt and exported in the US. Doesn't mean it came from CAF

In which case, the parts would have a paper trail back into Canada, because they would be controlled for export from the US.
Further, sale of these military/police rifles is subject to an end user certificate, and disposition of the rifles and their components would be subject to the conditions on this certificate, including export from the US.

Willywonka519. That was a legitimate kijiji ad / I was selling those triads on behalf of a local police service that had removed them from the rifles. They were declared surplus by the Deputy Chief and the funds went back into our training budget. They were not stolen from the CF.
