Let's see your tikka's

Since were posting pics of Sporters. Here's mine. The pic is from last summer.

Do it! I've got one, and it's my favourite gun.

I'd get an EGW rail from Hirsch Precision (site sponsor), but two piece warne or weaver bases would work fine, too.

I'm using talley extra-lows and a VX-3 2.5-8. Nice and low.

99% sure I am buying a t3 lite in 6.5x55 tomorrow. What is a good base to get that will accept picatinny rings? I have a nice set I want to keep using.

The Barrel / Action is from a Varmint stainless .204 dropped into a 'Sporter' stock. The glass is a HD5 5-25x50mm Varmint. Kinda hope its gonna fit the DNZ one piece. If not, I have a factory Piccy rail and mount until I figure something out.

That's a nice combo you have there. I really Like the pale colouring on the stock.

What caliber?

Mine is in .260 rem. As it sits in the pic it had a Burris 2 piece base and Burris tactical rings and a Sightron SIII 6-24x50LRMOA. Now it has a Ken Farrell 1 piece 20 moa base with Nightforce rings and I got a Nightforce NSX 5.5-22x56 for a scope. I also added a Lumley Arms bottom metal so I can use AICS mags. I added pillers to the stock and bedded the action.

My girlfriend has a Sporter as well. Hers is in 6.5x55.

Both rifles shoot really well.

Pop cans at 500 yards better watch out!

Nice! Mines not that advanced yet. I finally got the glass, The DNZ and my Weaver High's are to low for this scope (Be warned everyone) so I used some Burris AR style rings on the Sako piccy to get me going. Still doing an intensive break in at the moment, one thing is for sure, these Tikka's can shoot!

Get some pics of the GF and her rifle posted up!

Some real nice rifles in this thread!

Tikka Lite in .243win out looking for wolves. At that time it had a Vortex Viper HST 4-16x44.

Heres the only pic of both rifles I have. Mines on top. Hers is on the bottom. Mine had a Vortex Viper HST 4-16x44 in that pic.

Hers is in 6.5x55 and currently has a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 but shes switching it out for a Sightron SIII 6-24x50 LRMOA. She has a Ken Farrell 20MOA base and a CoreTac brake.

She used her rifle to win our first local long range match. She beat me and 7 other guys. :d

This is mine with the NF. I sure do miss the light weight of the Sightron.

Ha, those two sporters look slick and good on the old lady for teaching you guys how to shoot! I fired a friends rifle last week with NF glass, nice a clear!

Managed to get the gun on paper again today and did some real tight groups. (Had the range to myself again) Jury is still out on the big Zeiss.

I showed my GF a pic of your stainless Sporter and she was a bit jealous. She really likes stainless guns.

She is only 24 years old though so she didn't like the old lady part. lol

PS: Ditch that rear swivel stud!
