Lets see your yote rifle !

For small critters one rifle I use is a pre-64 Model 70, 220 swift, 15x Lyman Super Targetspot scope. . This is the only photo I have of it. . The center rifle with the long scope.

Changed my .223 Rem 700 up a bit, swapped out FDE for black, had JC Custom Barrels true the receiver and build me a new barrel for it, also have a 4-16 Nightforce scope on order for it.

This is my first year having success going solo. I'm up to 6 so far. The top 2 were shot with my Browning X Bolt in 204 using 35 or 40 gr Bergers. Can't decide which work better but leaning toward the 40. Scope is Vortex 6-18 x44 BDC. He was taken at 200 yards prone.

B in law called this one in for me to 28 yards. Taken with my Beretta 1301 comp with 3" steel BB. First one with a shotgun. Brings a whole new deminsion to it! Notice how alert the shooter is?

I'm hooked!!

My Browning Xbolt 204 came through again today. Sorry no pics as camera battery was dead. 140 yards or so. Had mange though! Again. That makes 4 with mange of the 7 I have shot this year.

Anyone else running in to this?

Lpel, the ones I had on the trail camera were. The day I picked my cam eras up, before I grabbed it, I made a stand. Never saw anything. Grabbed the camera. Checked the card. Had a Mangey one coming in. I was at the other end of the field so probably never saw him.

I would say that would be a fun day showing you the sticks. Unfortunately I am supposedly working away from Brandon the month of January.....

I will guarantee you the food would be better than the hunting at the farm......

Well so far this year, no luck... Maybe because ive only been out once...

I Moved, so have to go knocking on some doors asking for permission closer to the new place. On top of that I have been working a lot but here is the rifle, maybe one day it will see field use... 1/2 moa rifle though !

I don't go after coyotes at this time of year anymore I'll wait until the pups are bigger this fall before I start shooting coyotes again.
