LMT Mk18 Clone

This is a civilain gun in Canada - unfortunately no "thumbs up for safety" setting on it.
I still need a KAC M4QD - I thought I had two out in the garage - but I dont
I have some inner tube sections to put on the KAC grip so the rubber bands off my brocolli wont be visible.
I have a Aimpoint M3 in PRI mount -- but I got the Short Dot back from Hoddie (when he got back from Afghan) and figured that I'd put it on for the time being. I'm thinking I may put it on for "accuracy" of my clone for pics etc.
I had a Wilcox mount -- but sold it in a time of weakness
Redi-mag to go on when more arrive.
(cough -- ahem I thought it came with the gun...)
Regarding the ShotDot -- Its brighter than the Aimpoint - and at 1.1 acts like one (with the exception it does not wash out in the Iraqi sun like the CompM and M2, M3 series -- someone told me the M4 is brighter - but I have not tried it in Iraq) It has a short twist to x4 - so you can use it for ACOG like duties.
The benifit to the Short Dot is that with the 1.1-4 switch you get the same POA/POA throught the power ring (unlike the the 1-4 Elcan switch) and you have the same muscle memory for head position (unlike the TA31DOC/TA01NSNDOC combos)
I leave it at 1.1 -- and if something comes up that I want to look at/shoot at better I power up.

Hey Kevin, other than the SB short dot, can you recommend any cheap 1x4 optics? Something parrallex free and maybe half the price of the short dot? Right now I have an aimpoint, but wanted alittle bit of magnification. Thanks for any help.
