Look What Bravo Company Has....

I thought you had one with all the good parts...

I'm waffling on doing a DHTC clone, the Simon sleeve on the OpsInc version is different. I have the right Flash Hider - but I don't have the right Simon Sleeve - as I gave that to someone, I have both Diemaco "weaver" and 1913 railed uppers, so really I just need barrels. I want to see if my laser guy can copy the font on the D barrels.

The C8CQB OpsInc Sleeve and Vortex

I was thinking about the full length SFW setup - not the shorty

You are correct - that will be much harder to replicate

But definately not impossible

Let me know if I can help

The sleeve on the OPSINC Can setup SFW is different than the other C8SFW Simon sleeve -- I don't have a SFW OpsInc Sleeve, nor did I think to take any pictures.

I was just more posting a pic I had of the C8CQB to show the shoulder swell for the can mate up on the collar, IIRC the SFW/Ops sleeve can the same swell at the back.

Accuracy of the SFW : I never handled a SFW but I squeezed out some very nice looking groups last time I handled a C8A3 on a range. Of course, I was cheating and running a grip pod on it.

I will be very interested if BCM make a cold hammer forged barrel version of this upper. Good job Larry, thank you for helping make this gear available.

Not letting this thread die. Are you making headway Farmboy? 4 steps forward 3 back? As long as we are inching ahead its all good, more time to save!

SFW is the same gun as the C8FTHB/C8A3 - its just the SFW came with the KAC RAS by Diemaco/Colt Canada P/N.

Accuracy is typical Colt Canada -- most will shoot under 1 MOA with good ammo.

Colt Canada inherited the GFM Rotary Hammer Forges from Diemaco -- these are owned by the Cdn Government, but used by Colt Canada.
I'm sure the barrels are not Chromed in England - that to me seem like a very costly shipping procedure - and not what CC has told me in the past.

Yes Paul said they will be BCM marked - he also said you can take Aluma Black and blacken it which will subdue it quite a bit

Hi Larry

Do you think they could sell them as complete rifles to us in Canada? Similar to their BCM M4 Carbine Mod 1?

I would certainly buy one.

Thank you
