Just looking at the panic sell off of Garands, M1 Carbine, SKS, SVT's etc on the EE right now should tell you what's on the list easily enough.
I would say there is only a few more than normal on the EE (Garands). I actually expecting more selling. Plus the prices seem to be holding strong.
Somebody on the EE is kindly offering to buy a nice Garand for $250 shipped. We saw many people wanting to buy before the "handgun freeze", so wait and see.![]()

Man I wish I had more liquidity. This is better than any black friday deal. Im seeing nice springfield garand going 2100$, svt sniper, first generation type 99 with intact mum, unrestricted m1 carbine for 650$, italian M1d with its crate but no accesories for 3100$. This is crazy. My main issue now is that I need to sell something to cover the cost of my recent purchase but the market is flooded with everything.
My memory must be getting worse as I get older, for the life of me I can't remember the last time an M1 Garand was used in a drive by?
So where are all the hunting guns being panic sold like the black stuff ?
I haven't seen anything remotely equal in ratio.
So do hunters have the balls to keep their guns or too totally uninformed as to what's going on ?
Most bolt action and shotgun are safe for now. Why would they panic sold?
Lots of 7400's, BAR's etc out there
Yes but not a reason to lie to yourself. The vas majority of hunter use bolt action and shotgun
Careful. Loads of waterfowlers use semi auto shotguns. Especially if they are frequent users magnum shells.
And many spouses or young hunters of the millenium generation choose to outfit thier sprouting family with semi auto sub gauge shotguns as a first upland gun.
Three decades ago it was a Citori or 870. Nowadays it's more often a semi Benelli or Weatherby.
