Hey Elgato that is pretty slick looking! What kit is that? Or did you just fabricate it your self. The stock angle seems a little Extream but its a great step in the right direction.

And this is my cheap stock, made out of old Crapco bits and pieces. Still waiting to get a shorty for it, but so far 400+ rounds thru it and it hasnt cracked or fell apart. Got about 15 bucks tied into it so far :)

what is the grip stock kit from?

All parts from an old SKS with a Tapco stock. SKS came with the original wood stock as well so I threw that back on and found a better use for the plastic bits. Im only doing this for a giggle and dont claim its as good as or better than anything else out there....but it works for me :)

Does any one have any contact with ATI or Tapco or another company that has access to equipment to make some thing like this? Or a does any one know if some one makes a cheap AR stock conversion that can be modified on to a cheap Norc stock?

They already make the Archangel, they wont convert the Sparta for the M14

The way I see it the Archangel and the Sparta are two totally different platforms, one for a precession rifle and one for a CQB rifle. Since they have the basic design already. If they knew there was a market for it, I think it would be possible.

I've been looking for a stock for my 305 for a while, finding several that are not easily attainable. I was excited about a Troy MCS I found until I realized it was $550 on an american site ($800 + Canadian sites). Damn. Blackfeathers are wicked looking stocks, as well as Xander Customs. I like the fact that both of these are Canadian, around $600 and are not heavy like the Troy, VLTOR stocks. I was watching a video of a guy saying a loaded Troy MCS weighs about 12lbs, I didn't think it would be that heavy.

I don't know if this qualifies as low cost, but I was looking at the Troy M14 Modular Chassis a while back. $800... plus you need an AR-15 buttstock, buffer tube, and grip?

Edit: I'd say just save up every penny you can for a couple pay cheques, until you can get one of the non-cheapo chassis... or source a good one used!
