Just a quick update for everyone. We have been working hard to make an upper that works with both WK and MCR parts. This is no small task since both are slightly different. We hope to have something to show off by next weekend. If everything works out on this latest version we will start the first production run shortly.

No, just we can't spend all day answering emails while all of the information we have released is posted here.
SBI, can you create a locked thread called "SBI Releases" or "SBI Availability", and then post a simple "Item is for Sale" along with a link back to each item's main thread and its for sale page on SBI site? People could then subscribe for instant email notification on the thread, and would know there inbox wouldn't be clogged since the thread is locked away from community content. It might save some email inquiries.

Our upper is gonna be lightweight. Without the side plate, the dry weight is currently 170g for the left hand charge model.
If you want to go with a rifle length gas system and a pencil barrel, you may want to wait on the SBI DI BCG. When testing was done on an early production version of a competitor's piston 180 firearm that used a rifle length piston and gas block hanging off a pencil barrel developed an MOA spread on rapid fire, similar to when a heavy suppressor is fitted on a What Would Stoner Do Pencil-barreled AR-15. The competitor has increased the barrel's thickness beyond pencil to compensate. If there is only a lighter AR-15 style gas block and a gas tube hanging off a pencil barrel with a rifle length gas port on a Lynx, it should not have any issue. A carbine length piston and AR-18 type gas block on a carbine length gas-ported pencil barrel is unlikely to have the issue either, as that brings things closer to the gun's center of gravity, and thus no problems have been reported from anyone putting a pencil barrel on a 180 variant with a carbine length port, to my knowledge.

Nice aesthetics to the upper. I like the svelte curve up to the rail, and the ridges/lines on the side of the receiver look sweet. Amy chance of you producing complete receiver sets in different colours down the line?
