Happy to see that Mickey+Mouse's ridiculous marketing strategy (LOL Match Grade DMR Safety) and predatory business practices (Almost certain collusion with North Sylva) is starting to get some light shed on it. I also find it completely ridiculous how M+M themselves are almost positively in breach of contract for pulling out of Wanstalls pre-order (and to that end most likely CanAm's distribution rights) and yet the CEO is whining like a child who wants to take their toys home after being upset by saying

“Last month, I was almost at the point of saying, ‘You know what, screw it, we’re not bringing guns into Canada.’”

“Everybody is blowing things out of proportion,” Meier said. “The only place in the world where we’re having a big argument like this one is Canada.”
I wonder how many markets they're actually trying to sell the M10X in, since the only ones I can easily spot are the US and now Canada. I also wonder if there's any correlation between "these Canadian issues" and the fact that M+M has arbitrarily decided to increase the base price of the M10X to justify a $550 price jump from the original price.

If that's the sentiment from the CEO himself, I wonder how eager he'd be willing to fix any issues that any M10X owners here in Canada have... that is, if it even gets that far given North Sylva's history.

I for one hope more time is given to write another great article that looks into the NR tax and all the shenanigans that come along with that in our Canadian market.

What a loser. I've been telling this story to every gun person I know so that they don't even consider buying it. Lies. Lies. And more lies.

Thats fine, keep the ####ing rifles and tell us how well they sell with the new inflated price in USA

Say what you want about M+M, but blaming Canada for the marketing/business shortcomings of their company?? Incredibly unprofessional...

That's a hard pass.

May want to get your facts straight, M+M was still providing the alloted rifles to Wanstalls through NS and was allowing it at Wanstalls advertised price.....Wanstalls then canceled

sure, blame us. It is simply because your @#$% does not sell in other parts of the world mike mouse.

seriously they come close to pull out but they are not pulling out. This is more like a" if you guys still say things about us we are not selling the rifle to you" type of hype scam. mike mouse now wants us to beg him to give it to Canada. LOL who cares.

Id love to see Wanstalls confirm the email, document etc that shows M+M giving them the pre-order price. Really is the only thing that could change my mind.

M+M
A company that we have no business agreements with had released claims of Pre-sales and pricing that was not generated by M+M industries. This in turn has led to a large flow of speculation and misinformation across the Canadian market. We expect this company to issue an official retraction of their statements very soon.

Wanstalls
Rest assured Wanstalls will be able to honor our initial pre order price to all the people who took part in our M10x pre-sale!
In close consultation with the President of M+M Industries, we believed at the time that we had the full and appropriate pricing structure...we did not. We misunderstood some of the information regarding pricing, as well as some of the issues distributing the gun in Canada. Some of this info we received led us to believe we needed to launch a pre-sale right immediately. We will bear full responsibility for our role in this rocky start.

Seems clear as mud to me.

They just went on record there saying they have no idea how many rifles will come to Canada and they will be in small batches... so how would they have garunteed they amount to fill the first pre order, plus the pre orders for other dealers...

They're on record saying a lot of things, a good portion of which make no sense, are contradictions and are generally sleazy. I'm sure when they talk about North Sylva in the scope of “They’re one of the most-businesslike people we’ve been dealing with.” they're really just enjoying working with a business that doesn't mind taking advantage of Canadians like M+M was hoping to do.

and when it comes to warranty: you broke your rifle, everybody is blowing things out of proportion. Good luck.
mike mouse wants attention, and some begging. he s getting none

When Wanstalls launched the preorder they, as in Wanstalls, said there was no limit to the number of rifles or the length of time the presale would run. Doesn't sound like small batches to me. Somethings not adding up here. Just like a lot of things to do with this. Sounds like someone (cough, cough, M+M, cough, cough) is just trying to cover their @$$

I also like the retraction that NS had anything to do with classification, as M+M states in many other posts
