M+M CEO Considered Pulling M10X Rifle From Canada After Brouhaha - CDN Gun Blog

Maybe he just hasn't used the Match Grade DMR Safety enough to really see the justification of the high cost...

You know, I haven’t been paying this gun much attention other than the sh,tstorm going on about price gouging. I’m not really interested in CommBloc guns. But now watching this video, it really does seem like a nice well built rifle, DMR safety and all!

I’ll never buy one but it’s still a cool and functional gun. If M+M and RobArms got together and came up with the love child of the XCR and the M-10X, they might have a winner.

May want to get your facts straight, M+M was still providing the alloted rifles to Wanstalls through NS and was allowing it at Wanstalls advertised price.....Wanstalls then canceled

May want to get your facts straight bud.
CanAm did the legwork for getting the rifle classified, M&M played dumb telling Wanstalls "we talked to some disco guy (CanAm), but never heard back so assume they lost interest".
Wanstalls then had a deal/price in place directly with MFM&M. A week or so later MFM&M reneged on said deal, made Wanstalls grovel in order to honor the pre-orders that were sold, and eventually reneged on that deal as well when they set up with NS, whom MFM&M is also currently looking at reneging on by the sounds of it....see a trend here?
And sure NS would sell Wanstalls rifles, the same price they sell them to SFRC/TENDA ect which is no doubt more then $1450. Yes you are butthurt, same with that other Quebec guy that bought mags and a scope. The rest of the pre-order people seem to be OK with the options given, and given the circumstances, understand that Wanstalls got ####ed over by MFM&M, and do not expect a business to lose money for them because they are not greedy little #####es.
If the rifle is so fantastic, and MFM&M is such a great guy, you should be happy to support him and spend the $2300 retail or whatever it works out to now.
You seem to believe everything MFM&M has said to date, so really you can't hold Wanstalls to blame for incorrect pricing can you? They corrected it ASAP, and the rifles are not even built OR in country so not like anyone is out anything...(with the exception of the silly folks with uncontrollable spending habits that bought a few mags they might eat $20 on...which in itself is a valuable lesson well worth $20 if you ask me).
MFM&M says it's $2k MSRP/MAP here in Canada, for now anyway. You better believe him until he changes his mind again. Looks like the NR tax isn't enough for him...he wants to tack on a punitive tax as well for having to deal with us crabby Canucks lol.

I was on the pre-order, Wanstalls has yet to explain or even comment as to why it was canceled even though M+M has assured us they were still supplying the rifles through NS to them at the low presale price both publicly and privately if you had bothers to call/email them as I have

OMG take those words back lol. ABOMINATION.

Wanstalls also claimed to have played an intricate part of the FRT process which we know is a lie

And at what price was NS going to supply them to Wanstalls at? Did you ask them?

M+M was providing them to Wanstalls through NS at the presale price is what I was told.

NS is the sole distributor so any rifles entering the country go through them regardless of who they were allotted to

It was a small number of rifles according to M+M

Wanstalls also claimed to have played an intricate part of the FRT process which we know is a lie

How do you know that? Maybe Craig called and got it sped up? That's "working with the RCMP to get it classified" to me, even if they were not the ones to submit the rifle.

CanAm is how I know that.

Wanstalls own posts and what I was told at presale on the phone about how they had so much time and money invested in getting the FRT approved.

Not sure why you still blindly trust when facts clearly say otherwise

Think about it, If Wanstalls was done so dirty by M+M and actually had anything to use against what facts and media that has come out they would not be silent.

LOL. Who told you M+M was providing the rifles to Wanstalls through NS at the pre-sale price?
M+M?

M+M actually posted on their own facebook they were still supplying Wanstalls if you followed it (but changed their minds in the end I guess) :X

that was only M+M saying that WS was authorized to sell them for $1450 to fulfill the preorder which is probably less then NS will supply them for.

And at what price was NS going to supply them to Wanstalls at? Did you ask them?

Heres the problem Hitzy... did you?

Ive talked to Wastalls and M+M... I think theres a lot of anger directed at the wrong parties here. I suggest everyone who is invested in this enough to call for boycotts or to praise the rifle do the same.

Wanstalls did not want to lose money on this deal, that's why they canceled the pre-order plain and simple. They were told to purchase their rifles from North Sylva, however M+M in the email they sent me did not answer at what price Wanstalls were getting the rifles from NS at.
