M+M CEO Considered Pulling M10X Rifle From Canada After Brouhaha - CDN Gun Blog

M+M was providing them to Wanstalls through NS at the presale price is what I was told.

NS is the sole distributor so any rifles entering the country go through them regardless of who they were allotted to

It was a small number of rifles according to M+M

So again, you believe MFM&M side of the story without ever confirming with the other party involved NS?
First off, HOW could MFM&M have any say like that with NS? Makes no sense at all. "Here are your rifles at $### BUT YOU HAVE to set MAP/MSRP at $2k AND YOU HAVE TO give these lads here a few dozen to undercut your distributors by $550 because like...you know?"
Bulllllllll####.
To me it sounds like you are grovelling your little heart out directly to MFM&M trying to get your rifle at special pricing...good luck with that. Maybe MFM&M can tell NS to sell you one directly for $1450 since he's such a stand up guy and really "cares about his Canadian customers"... and according to you can dictate sale priority to NS.

Still a whole lotta whining going on....you guys really think all this bitter ass #####ing will make things any better.

It wont.

Those who want the rifle will still buy it (myself included).

Those who dont, wont.

I just dont like misinformation and speculation not based on facts that can have serious implications to peoples business... be it Wanstalls North Sylva or yes, even M+M.

CanAm is how I know that.

Wanstalls own posts and what I was told at presale on the phone about how they had so much time and money invested in getting the FRT approved.

Not sure why you still blindly trust when facts clearly say otherwise

So Craig himself said this to you on the phone?
The thread is still there you know...
https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/1624123-M-M-Industries-M10X-Official-PRE-ORDER
It says:
We are excited to announce the M10X has been classified as NON restricted and we will now be accepting pre orders. This was a lengthy process working with the RCMP on this rifle and are happy it will be coming to the Canadian market.
Doesn't say they spent time or money getting it approved does it? Says it was a lengthy process, which every single new FRT is.

That's right, everyone should just shut up and believe the lies and contradictions. Oh and don't forget that bad ass marketing material. Even this article made additional claims and statements that are not backed up at all. It's all opinion and more BS speak.

And you get all your inside information from MFM&M's Facebook page? Well you and everyone else that can read I guess.

no, Wanstalls caused this issue is how it has played out, first their lies about working with the RCMP, then to saying the presale was secure and then canceling the orders even when M+M was still supplying them with the rifles to satisfy their mistake.

I knew it was already too good to be true when I placed the order considering the price CanAm projected they were working towards.

Just another case of Canadian retailers trying to cut eachothers throats at the expense of the consumer/public

Something people always seem to forget... Can Am said themselves almost a year ago thwy were told M+M suspected pricing to be $2k to 2400... but we are supposed to believe Wanstalls was directly told by M+M that $1450 was their price? Come on!

Heres the problem Hitzy... did you?

Ive talked to Wastalls and M+M... I think theres a lot of anger directed at the wrong parties here. I suggest everyone who is invested in this enough to call for boycotts or to praise the rifle do the same.

Exactly, people should really look into it a little further

we could argue about who said what for months to come, but could we all agree that this unproven rifle does NOT worth $2000.

And MFM&M told Wanstalls that CanAm dropped off the map and was no longer interested, M&M then would not reply to any CanAm inquiries...
Again, everything points back to M&M pulling out of deals.
He sure has the wool pulled over on some of you guys though...man.

Lots of NR rifles not worth the price, still lots of buyers on here. After having an xcr I would have to be paid to get another yet they somehow sell

I suggest you call and email NS, Wanstalls, M+M and CanAm. I think you will be surprised
