Nope - not to my knowledge, although it might get interpreted as "relatively easy to convert" but then, so did a CZ858 receiver
I'm not sure on this Sir.
The way I see it, a lower receiver that was milled out and drilled for the sear would be a prohibited firearm would it not? What would be the difference then between a restricted stripped lower semi auto and a prohibited stripped lower M16 receiver? Nothing except for that space milled out behind the trigger group and a hole drilled for the sear pin.
It's the same reason we can't have CZ, Swiss Arms or any other rifle that is capable of mounting parts that go full auto with the parts simply removed or not installed. The M14 would be a perfect example I think, if it were so you could legally own an M14 with the auto selector lever and knob just removed so it could only shoot in semi auto which is not the case at all.
Maybe a touch of a grey area but we all know well how the RCMP would interpret your milled out lower lol......
