M4 carbines

sweet Jesus yes they have there place! in the hands of every great Canadian! shooting up dirt piles and punching holes in paper! maybe all the shooting of targets might get the papermills rolling out some targets and everyone could get back to work, in this country, then we could buy some more AR's then we need more paper..... see this could be real good for our economy, thanks John your the man, keeping Canada strong and ARMED!

I am number club #63

My girlfriend/fiancee doesn't know I used her engagement ring money to buy this Norc M4 and a Norc Sig226

I wonder what she would say when she finds out I empty out the ring fund... ####...

"I wonder what she would say when she finds out I empty out the ring fund... s**t... "

Who will be handling your estate once she finds out ??
John

She'll understand...explain that guns are like shoes (to her)...you can never have enough :D

I will be calling tomorrow to add my name to the list! Damn I was just going to save up for a more exensive brand as these commonly sell for $900 or more but at this price it makes it worth while! This will introduce a lot of new people to this platform!

I was going to buy a second... but my wife's pregnant.

Thanks John for bringing them in... and for letting me cancel my preorder :(

Holding my first one from Lever, it's such a hard decision to make.

Are you serious or is this just a joke?

Oh well, maybe your inner self wants that single life back so badly.

I have no black rifle yet but this has got me interested. When I was in the army we used the C7. I'm curious how close these are to that rifle. I don't mean the looks but the guts of the rifle. Are these great prices because the guts used are of a lesser quality? I know some people say the finish is not as good as a north american rifle, but I'm more concerned with the mechanics. The finish isn't what you rely on..
Any opinions? This does seem to be a nice deal. The north american rifles in the store near me are 1400...
Thanks

I believe the guts are about the same I could be wrong.

I don't know any one with a Norinco M4 but from the mixed reviews I have read online, I have not really heard anything bad about the mechanics of it. I even read on a different website some people thought it shot better then the Colt.

Like I said without knowing anyone with one or having even shot the Norinco myself to compare, I wouldn't know to much but I am more than sure there are a few guys/gals on here that would be able to answer that one.

I recall there being a thread a while back with comprehensive specs on these rifles (or at least the ones Lever and ArmsEast brought in). anybody have it booked-marked or copied? Search turned up squat as usual.

I own a Norinco M4 and I'm pleased with it.

I'm unpleased with the price of the newest shipment thought! :)

I kinda feel I've got ripped off a bit! :kickInTheNuts:

After all, 200$ is a notable difference in price.

Good side? More black rifles on the market, more people owning them! R:d:

What are these like using open sights? What specific scope would work best?

depends what type of shooting yo uintend to do. On an M4/C8 clone (like these), most people will opt for a red dot of some type, such as an Aimpoint or Eotech or clone thereof.

Cheap knockoff are available for around $50-75 that you could use to see if you like them before shelling out for a brand-name optic. But I would not recommend keeping the cheapie forever - eventually get a good one.

If you want sniper-like long-range shooting, I would suggest getting a different AR with a longer barrel, fre-floated front handguard, etc. and an appropriate magnification scope to match.
