Thanks. Tomorrow I see if I lose any fingers in the first rounds. The Go/no go gauges tell me it's safe. On a side note the mag well as indicated is very tight so some emery cloth or many hours of inserting and removing magazines is in my future. Bolt catch works in dry cycling, will know more after tomorrow.

Where can I find a midlenght 18.6 barrel that is not heavy barrel? I want something that’s about the same dismeter as my m&p 15 sport 2. I’ll just take everything from my sport 2 except the 16 inch barrel and put it all on the maccabee. I want a midlenght system to get a longer handguard so it wont look too goofy with the longer barrel. I want the look of the M&P 15 moe mid in the end. Like thT but OD green furniture all around:

I went down to CSC and picked it up, see where my location is. Calgary. And I'm betting MacDef either dropped them off at CSC or CSC could have picked them up. On Sunday. Or are you still confused?
