March Acquisitions
I finally got a Ballard No2 sporting rifle with a 30" octagon barrel in 38 long rim fire and center fire. I traded one off years ago and been kicking myself ever since. Had to trade a Luger and an M1 Springfield for it.
Traded for a Czechlosovakian model 16/33 Mauser in VG condition. Had to find a Czech Bayonet lug and some swivels but it will look great in my Mauser collection.
Traded for a 1908 Brazilian in VG condition and my favourite caliber 7X57.
Traded for an Israeli K98, manufactured for Israel by FN. It has the non-finger groove walnut stock, and the distinct Israeli crest on the receiver. It was one I had sold to a guy about fifteen years ago, and he wanted a post 64 Winchester 30-30 for it.
Now I have three Israeli Mauser's two in 7.62 and one identical in 22. Now I need an Israeli K98 bayonet with Hebrew markings.
I also had six prohib handguns given to me, and a couple of bayonets. One of the bayonets is exactly what I collect, chrome or nickel plated ceremonial.
One is a chromed P17 with a C broad arrow, and the other is a 1A1 long bayonet.
Also traded for a mint Mauser K98 bayonet converted to fit the M1 Garand. And found a new Krag carbine bayonet, converted to the M1 Carbine.
