I have a Marlin 60, 795, and XT-22 Bolt. Here's my take on them.
Marlin 60 - affordable, reliable, and light. It will fire anything that I've put through it, and I've put about 300 rounds through it no issues. Nice and accurate. I love the tube magazine, but I grew up using a cooey model 60 so I might be a bit biased. I find I can load 14 in the tube faster than I can load 10 in the detachable mags of the other two. Trigger on the 60 and 795 are pretty heavy, but I've noticed the 60 has gotten better as it breaks in.
Marlin 795 - really the same animal as the model 60, just detachable magazine. I haven't shot it as much as the 60 but its been plenty reliable so far.
XT-22 - A bit more expensive than the semi-autos but I'm pretty impressed with this gun. Out of the box I was shooting magpies at 30-40 yards with iron sites and no tinkering. Can be bought in either detachable magazine (own) or tube magazine style (would buy next time). Definitely has a better trigger than the semi-autos, a lot lighter and better feel.
