"All recievers that were once full auto are always considered full auto, and prohibited." NOT accurate, this is true ONLY IF they were part of a firearm, if they were never assemble into a firearm they are whatever you make them into during remanufacturing....

Based on what John's stated thus far. He did do just that. The only difference was that the firearms had slightly different markings and a different paintjob.
Maybe the Czech's used kitten blood to paint the rifles this time? I think that definitely warrants a prohibited status!
Back to the topic - We have a Conservative government in power, last time anyone talked about pulling crap like this, Stockwell Day and half of the cabinet lost access to their email accounts for a week(Your Inbox has exceeded it's quota, please contact Tech Support). If there is a "Public Servant" making the rules up as they go along I would think that an elected official would get on the phone and tell said "Public Servant" to stop thinking and get back to stamping 'approved' on the pretty pieces of paper - or else join the ranks of the unemployed. This is NOT one of those cases in which the CPC can sit back and say 'we don't have a majority, we can't do what we really want to do' this is much simpler, 'do your effing job or you don't have one' stuff. It's about time the Conservative Party of Canada got off it's ass and started relaxing the laws through regulatory changes that don't require a vote. We helped them, time to get some payback. Otherwise we may as well accept that we'll be telling our grandkids about the time when you could legally own a firearm in Canada, sooner rather than later.

I think everyone can also help by starting to call these firearms by their real names CZH2003, FSN-01 and not by their MARKETING name VZ58s. It may be BS but if guns can go prohib simply by looks (GSG5) calling a firearm by their select fire military name which is prohib is surely not helping especially with those clowns who decided to play spin the bottle after the fact.
The FSN-01 (Fire System Novohradsky typ 1) built by Petr Novohradsky, receiver internals are different. Not the trigger, spring and other parts, just the inside of the receiver. (I did mention this before in another thread but was told I didn’t have my facts straight) When I took one apart at Zeleny (Green) Sport 2 years ago the inside rectangular piece that blocked the FA slot ran on the right of the receiver to the cross pin. I was also told by the boys at Zeleny Sport (The first Czech distributor for the FSN-01s) that these versions are the hardest to convert so hopefully this decision will be reversed.
