Why continue with the same name if it has such a negative history to it?

Grouse river changed and it seemed to work for them. Hard to out run someone's history with the same name

Patt08, aakoksal, conscript, Tvw, tobaman, redbirddog, JoKa, call2arms, Thank you for the support.

Gmoney, Glad things are working out, thank you for the comments.

Battleworn, a pleasure, we look forward to the next order.

45ACPKING, I'll pass on your comments to John, thank you for the support.

jiffx, I appreciate the comments. Sales are certainly on their way.

SigP. I believe that customers are humans (as I am), and humans make mistakes. I do believe in the benefit of the doubt, and will accept someone's word as long as its plausible given the circumstances.

bigredchev, I'm of the opinion that you shouldn't get rid of something as soon as it becomes inconvenient.

Well, that s all well and good, but the real question is: Does John still have any financial interest in the company? Is he involved in any way, either as a behind the scenes employee, paid or unpaid 3rd party consultant, etc? Bottom line: is his involvement completely severed?
Light Infantry; John has sold the company, and is no longer involved in the management or day-to-day operation. He provides advice related to international import/export red-tape. We do host John's vault, which sells some of his personal items as part of an agreement.

I do speak with him directly and ask for his opinion on some issues, since he does have a lot of time in the industry, and knows a lot more about our contacts than I do at this time. The decisions being made are ultimately ours and you can hold me accountable.

I hope you understand that I can't definitively answer your question as a yes or a no, but I'm happy to give you the information I have and let you make up your own mind.

That's a fair answer. Not one I personally like to read, but fair.

Yup and how many of the employees knew they were selling fraudulent rifles.
coleman, I couldn't tell you. I joined Marstar after that happened, and we've cleaned house since.

That response seems vague. I'd need more details on that before I would do business with Marstar - how many people who were employed during the T2 scandal remain currently employed in the "new management"? What does "cleaned house" mean? Is that 100% turnover with zero employees from 2016 still at the company?

Why continue with the same name if it has such a negative history to it?

I actually think it's a credit to you that you're not hiding behind a new name.

Doesn't pass the sniff test at all............it sounds more like John is barking orders at the workers remotely and a shift of official titles was made to appear like the house has been cleaned up.

An apology from the company is worthless if the people involved in the T2 scam are still employed/involved in the company, you may as well be giving us all the middle finger.

Why would employees be responsible for bad decisions their boss make...??? Are your children responsible while they are riding with you when you speed on the highway and get a ticket...???

I'm just talking about John, his previous actions make it very difficult to have trust in the company with him still involved in any manner.

I hope you are understanding of that.

Congrats on the new endeaour !

John always had an intersting story to tell.... I've always enjoyed talking with him.... the ''face to face'' John was different than the ''in front of a computer'' John...

Wish him a well deserved retirement... and may Marstar develop new ties and trust from the shooting community. The ball is in your hands now.
