Is that a real SS dagger or repro?

Says "meine ehre heisst treue"? (my honour is loyalty) Saw one in an antique shop last year in Niagara. Asking big bucks.

unfortunatly......repro.sure worths lots of money a real one.this one is a b-day gift from one of my friends.curiously,how did the antique shop asked for the dagger?

yep, KAR 71 made by steyr in 1876, marked to dragoon regiment #20. the IG71/84 was made in spandau in 1887 and marked to infantry regiment #11.

Kurgan - I concur! that is some niiiiiice ####... I cant even think of showing my R/C Dot44 or Israeli BCD in 7.62 as they dont make a pimple on a fat man's ass compared to those beauties! I cant even imagine Albayo's collection...

Nice Mausers, Albayo. Does the Israeli 98 have an FN or Israeli replacement stock, I've never seen a Brno Israeli with finger grooves.

Was that the sling you got with the rifle? Mine's pretty dark from the cosmoline and would love to get one like yours.
