Congrats on your 725 sporting .what barrel length did you get .adjustable comb or standard stock . I have the 30" barrel standard stock model its an awesome gun .
Thanks! I wanted the adjustable comb but I couldn't find one. Shot a friends identical to yours on saterday and it fit great so I just got the standard stock as well. I got the 32" barrels though. Apparently Browning isn't making any more 725's untill 2014 so I grabbed one of the two in canada I could find lol (didn't want to go 28", there's a few of those around)
I finally got the gun back from the shop. They did a bunch of work to the bolt, extractor, ejector, ejection port etc. I shot 150 rounds through it and it jammed 15+ times.
So I took it back to the shop once again and they are appealing to Browning to get me a replacement finally. After almost a year, I don't even know if I will keep the new one lol.
Browning has given me a full credit for my Maxus. I won't be getting another one, but I'm happy it's finally resolved. I'll be putting it towards the new 725 Skeet and picking up the new Benelli Ethos at the same time

Glad you got a full credit but it doesn't say too much about thier smiths if they could not fix it.
Sad but it seems we hear more and more of this from warranty shops today.

Brutal - my Maxus has been 100% reliable (3" chamber) but sucks to hear yours was a lemon.
Try an A400 and lemme know what you think... I've been having slight buyers remorse since I bought the Maxus - since what i really 'wanted' was the A400 in Optifade. But since the Maxus is reliable, I can't say it's let me down yet!
Yeah its kinda sad I couldn't even get an answer as to what was wrong after a whole year. But since the Ethos came out its kinda a blessing in disguise, I was tired of cleaning the gas system anyways lol.
Wow....a year !!...friggen unbelievable !!....They should have done right from the get go ( refund)...then THEY could have repaired it / tested it themselves to see what's what !
