Can you confirm this? Can I drive to ATRS and buy this tomorrow?

SLR for a 223 for now, if the Wolverine comes out in 7.62x39 for the same price as the current offering I'll be all over that to.
It's in production and you can buy one now. FRT not complete, but it's also not a legal requirement. It has been submitted for FRT and is still waiting, receiver is built off the modern varmint as the parent.
ATRS prefers to wait until FRT is given, but you can take a chance and buy one now.
No it won't as we have redesigned this to drop the spring loaded trunnion in the back of the lower so that a standard AR buffer retainer can be used as well as mil spec style fire control parts.
It is a different gun but shares the look and some of the features the MV does in order to hopefully keep the NR legal status.
I haven't been watching the atrs thing...
Are the receiver sets just stripped Varmiter receivers? Or have they been modified in some way?
The ATRS offering is nowhere near production and has no FRT.

AS I posted above, only 7075 is milspec approved for AR rifles. There's a reason for that....
You talk about expense then indicate you own an ACR?! Talk about an over priced product!
I smell a shill here. And can you please explain how you KNOW so much about my shop and where we are with production and FRT?
You can come in and fondle one but until we have the FRT do not plan to let any on these out. We do not like to potentially put our clients at risk legally for possibly being in possession of a restricted or worse prohibited firearm. There is NO reason the Modern Sporter should not have a NR legal classification as it is a direct variant of the NR Modern Varmint. HOWEVER we have seen guns like the GSG MP5 clone that does not share 1 single common part with the HK MP5 get prohibited classification based solely on looks.
I agree that the FRT is NOT law, but prefer not to put our clients at risk and certainly do not want to have any legal issues for anyone, so we will be patient rather than take the $$ and HOPE for a positive outcome.
Milspec is not always the best material or specification, in this case 7075 is superior but that doesn't mean 6061 is not adequate to provide a long service life.
How is an ACR overpriced? Have you ever held or shot one? You can buy a used restricted model for $2000 and convert it to non restricted for $500. I've owned two of them and neither has ever had a single failure and both were extremely accurate with a quality barrel installed. The only shortcoming with the ACR is parts support but parts are available and factory barrel kits are becoming easier to get.
I still own one and feel it's just as good or better than anything else on the market right now. I could easily sell it with my NR 300BLK and 223 conversions for more than enough money to buy whatever I wanted and it's still not for sale.
He lives in Calgary, must be spying on you. Either that or he's just making sh1t up as he goes.
I'm so confused.
Whats a modern sporter?
Are there any photos?
Price point.

6061 is decent but it's not the same as 7075. Will that be a major issue? Who knows, but 7075 is the only material approved per milspec for AR rifles. Something to think about.
Are the makers of the Mac Def on here?
Always wonder why they have little media presence.

They don't have a dealer account so they are not allowed to promote their products here.
