I respect your opinion even though I disagree with this narrative. BCL may have changed their prices to keep from going under. There are many gun manufacturing companies who are struggling to stay open. If the parts they make are truly made in Canada there is little room for them on profit.
You hit the nail on the head, I believe that they did change the price to keep sales up and ultimately avoid bankruptcy. With that said, there was at least $300.00 in profit, plus whatever they’re making now selling them at $1,550.00. As for making everything in Canada and still being profitable? That’s where corner cutting comes in.
Good, cheap and quick to make. Pick two.
Yes, I am bitter to have been charged $1,850.00 for a gun that now sells for $1,550.00 (or less). A lot of people weren’t thrilled. It was enough to make me swear off the brand.
