Luckily I slept like crap after my midnight shift last night so I was awake when the courier guy arrived.

It's been a long time coming. I got this one from Moreguns Supply.
Nice box. Includes everything pictured.
Cleaning kit. Like the other CSA carbine I shot, the gas pick has no elevation tool.
Left and right sides.
As shown, the front sight is drifted way to the left. The sight doesn't appear canted, so hopefully it's just poor assembly QC and not zeroed there.
Folded.
North Eastern Arms upper handguard fit right on, nice and snug.
Scope rail. It's solid steel.
Gas block area. It came with the Czech military brake.
A few different muzzle options:
Just the thread protector that comes with. Quite a bit shorter.
\
NEA Hybrid flash suppressor/brake.
NEA Heavy Brake.
Side-by-side comparison to my 14.5" AR. AR stock one click out.
Unlike the CSA "torture test" carbine I shot, the bolt is not painted underneath, nor does it have the extractor groove milled in near the tab. Maybe those are supposed to be on the 5.56mm guns?
Scope rail removed.
I tried a Dlask extend mag release. It wouldn't work. Note the different profiles on the top of the releases.
Left CSA, center Dlask, right from CZ858.
All ready for the range. Scope rail removed, NEA ambi selector, brake and handguard rail, and Neit Arms ambi mag release installed. A Neit bolt release will make it perfect.
