The gist is as follows:
without my scores, m-bomber wins with a nice, solid, convincing score, it's a hard classifier, everyone is happy.
Add MY scores to it, I inch my way above m-bomber, I push everyone down by 1-2 percentage points (so the scores go DOWN), and it becomes a soft classifier with inflated scores, because I got my win without kicking ass on all the stages.
So, higher scores without me = hard classifier, reasonable scores, everyone is happy.
Lower scores after I win a few stages to win the match = soft classifier, inflated scores, purely on the basis of me not getting enough stage point overall.
I've given up on trying to understand the logic of that.
The outcome is that when we have several good shooters of the same level in a match, with us sharing winning stages, it will most likely not be a classifier, just as this wasn't. So we'll have to coordinate, taking turns to shoot in other divisions, so no more than 2 90+ shooters are in any match, to maximize the changes of it being a Prod classifier.
If we could go back, I'd be happy to have my scores from Wentworth go into Std, so the Prod scores go UP and the match becomes a hard Prod classifier (DUH!?!???!?!), but it's too late now.
